Catalonian Kendo News from Charlie

Charlie’s going-away keiko at OKIK.

Charlie, a longtime member and former head of OKIK, moved to Barcelona with his wife Sandy, several months ago, in order to pursue a PhD at the University of Barcelona. Despite a heavy academic schedule and adjustment to his new city, Charlie has continued his kendo studies and has become a member of Club de kendo UPC, the kendo club at the university in Barcelona. 

Strong friendships are forged at OKIK, which span oceans and continents. So, we’ll be sharing some of Charlie’s Spanish kendo adventures and info over the coming months, as well as the kendo journeys of our  past and present members.

Charlie will always be part of OKIK.
